Record a 1-3 song shareable video/link of your performance (as if you were performing on a Windsor Folk Acoustic stage night), mention Windsor Folk in the video, and send it to the Windsor Folk Facebook page.
This will be an ongoing event so there are no deadlines. We will post the performances as we get them.
Have fun and we look forward to hearing you and sharing your music.
Windsor Folk has proudly hosted monthly performances for the past 26 years at the historic Mackenzie Hall Cultural Centre, which is located at 3277 Sandwich Street West, in Windsor.
Mackenzie Hall was built in 1855-1856 by Alexander Mackenzie, who became the second Prime Minister of Canada in 1873.
As a not for profit organization, we strive to offer a warm and inviting listening space for audiences and performers alike. We welcome both beginner and seasoned musicians to perform in our coffee-house-like setting.
Our audiences help support this wonderful venue with our ‘pass the hat’ policy. Funds are used to rent our beautiful space, replace audio and lighting equipment, pay for promotional costs, and provide baked goods at our concession. We also encourage our patrons to ‘ go green’ and bring their own coffee mug. Ours is an inclusive and wheelchair accessible venue.
The Windsor and surrounding area is full of talented seasoned and aspiring young musicians.
As a result, Windsor Folk continues to offer audiences a vibrant lineup of local and distant musicians every month. There is no cost to attend other than to contribute to our pass-the-hat policy to support our venue. We welcome your feedback and questions.
